This page contains handy data needed to test various processes in iCIS. The structure is based on the main menu and we build it up as need. Small amount of data can be inline but larger amounts should be on a linked page.

         • Backup/Restore Permissions - If a client's database has missing control security objects then the control (process button, tab, etc.) will not be visible. Likewise, if there is a missing form security object than that form will be treated as hidden (earlier version of iCIS would show the unhandled exception screen where you can safely ignore this error but you cannot gain access to that screen. Under either of these conditions the solution is to recreate the security objects for the version of iCIS be used. The security settings (called permission objects) entered by customers must be deleted to perform this process. A Database Utilties script and the procedure for backing up the customer security settings first and restoring them after has been documented for use by SupportTechs and Developers.
